YWAM Iași | Adoption and Celebrity

Recently an “Adopt a Child” Workshop was held at the Faculty of Psychology at the University Petre Andrei in Iași. Along with YWAM Cluj/Living Well Romania staff Anna and Aaron Stafford, Annie Bievliet from YWAM Iași shared more about adopting and it was very well received: pictured below in the front middle are Annie, Anna and Aaron. There were about 35 people at the workshop.

Besides this, Annie has actually become quite a celebrity during these last months. In December we held a Christmas fair at the base, as has been our custom these last several years. Annie made five kinds of cookies and French buches de Noel, and then somebody bought one buche as a gift for the chief producer of a TV channel. Consequently, she received a call and was asked to accept being interviewed and filmed making sweets. She made it clear she is here not because she likes to cook, but because the Lord led her here. She shared about her life and ministry during the last 14 years. We were pleased with the final reportage they produced. What an exciting opportunity to impact further for the Kingdom.
