A Brief History of YWAM Croatia
Since the 70’s, teams were coming to Croatia to encourage believers and do evangelism. In 1992, a team was established in Zagreb and ran 2 DTS schools and started lots of local ministries.
In 2012, they unfortunately had to close the registration due to a lack of staff…but God wasn’t finished with YWAM Croatia!
Youth With A Mission Croatia had one location from 2013 till 2022 in Kastela, based on the coast near the city of Split. We were a team comprised of individuals from different countries who shared a common mission: to witness lives transformed and people discipled, both within Croatia and among those who joined us for our Discipleship Training Schools (DTS) and outreaches.
The motto guiding our vision was “Blessed to be a Blessing.” We believed that God had bestowed upon us gifts, talents, relationships, resources, experiences, wisdom, and, above all, hope in Jesus and the Holy Spirit, so that we could bless those around us and spread His love.
Our aspiration is to establish more teams, extending our impact to the entire nation of Croatia.
