"Is that really you God ?" Coming to Slovenia

As you might have heard YWAM is in the early stages of pioneering in the country of Slovenia, where currently we are a small but growing team in the capital of Ljubljana. Our vision is to see Slovenia ignited by God’s love, to be a blessing beyond our borders, and to see the Church take its place in fulfilling the Great Commission.

We now invite you to be part of our vision, we invite you to join us as we launch our first project — translating the book “Is That Really You God” into Slovene. We believe that as YWAMs foundational stories – the stories of faith and a call to missions – become available in the local language, hearts of young people would be stirred to join this movement and make Jesus known to the ends of the earth.

Our goal is to raise 3500 EUR (2100 EUR due by the end of February 2021) to cover all the expenses: translation, proofreading, registering the book, design and printing, transportation and shipping, etc.

Andreja Klinc did her DTS in fall 2014 in Kona, Hawaii and then in the beginning of 2016 God spoke to her, to move back home to Slovenia. Since then the door for YWAM in Slovenia has been opening more evidently. It began with receiving emails from different European locations and with the content of how to see God’s movement in this nation through YWAM expressions. In March 2017 there was a gathering with a purpose to capture God’s heart for this nation and beautiful country. Interest in seeing God’s movement in Slovenia has been getting bigger and bigger since then. Missions teams have been coming to serve and help with discipleship here in Slovenia. Now YWAM in Slovenia is in the early stages of pioneering in the country, where currently there is a small but growing team in the capital of Ljubljana. Vision is to see the nation transformed and to see youth trained and be sent out into a missions field, since this nation has almost no missions history. There is longing to see Slovenia ignited by God’s love, to be a blessing beyond our borders, and to see the Church take its place in fulfilling the Great Commission. With a project where we are translating a book Is that really you God? We believe that as YWAMs foundational stories – the stories of faith and a call to missions – become available in the local language, hearts of young people would be stirred to join this movement and make Jesus known to the ends of the earth.
