Dear Central Europe YWAM family,
We welcome you to our next family gathering in Vajta, Hungary!
Registration for our 2026 Central European Staff Gathering is officially open. Here is important information about the booking process, payment, costs, arrival, and departure.
Please read through the details carefully, then click the link at the end of this email to register.
Registration Process
Each participant will need to register directly with the Vajta conference center through their online booking form. The form will ask for basic, but important information such as name, address, dietary needs, arrival and departure times, and more. The deadline to register is Friday, May 1st. Please register as early as possible. This will help both the conference center and the CESG planning team as we organize the housing.
You must complete a separate registration form for each member of your family who is coming to the gathering. Yes, even children. Yes, even babies. (See the attached price list for kids’ pricing.)
Accommodations
A list of the room types and their costs is attached to this email. When you select your preferred accommodation type in the registration form, please note that this is only a request. We may need to adjust the room arrangements to match the conference center’s booking availability. If this happens, your cost will be adjusted.
You can request a “preferred roommate.” If you are traveling with a spouse or with family, be sure to put your spouse’s name in this space. If you would like a room to yourself, please put “no roommate” in this space.
Costs and Payment
The cost of the gathering will be paid in two parts on the first day of the gathering: one payment to YWAM and one payment to the conference center. Together these payments will cover your accommodation, all meals, and conference fees.
Payment to YWAM: Must be paid in cash in local currency.
Adults: 12,000 HUF
Children 3-17 years: 6,000 HUF
Baby 0-2 years: FREE
Payment to Vajta conference center: The amount will depend on your accommodation. Can be paid by card or cash. If you pay with cash, Hungarian Forint is preferred but you may pay in Euro. The conference center will tell you the price in Euros based on that day’s exchange rate.
There are NO ATMs or exchange places in Vajta, so please get your Forint before you arrive! Note: There are two ATMs in the town of Cece which is 8 km from the conference center where you can take out Hungarian Forint. You will of course find ATMs in the Budapest center and at the airport.
Any cancellations or changes after the May 1st registration deadline may require you to pay a fee because of last minute changes to the rooms and meals.
We value your presence at the gathering. We don’t want finances to get in the way of you coming. If you are struggling with finances for this gathering, please email ce.convener@ywamce.com and let us know your circumstances. We can stand in faith with you, praying for the finances and trusting that the Lord will provide!
Transportation

If you arrive by car, you can park on-site free of charge.
If you arrive by train, you will arrive at Vajta vasútállomás (train station). It is the only train station in the town of Vajta, so you can’t miss it. The YWAM planning team will organize rides from the train station to the conference center (5 minute drive).
If you arrive by plane, you can take the airport bus into the Budapest center, then get on a train to Vajta.

The conference center cannot accommodate helicopter landings, so please make other arrangements. The boat dock is also out of commission for the season.
Arrival and Departure: In-person registration on May 28th will be open from 14:00-19:30. If you arrive later than 19:30, you will receive your room key from YWAM staff, and you can finish registration with the conference center the next morning.
The conference will end with breakfast on June 1st. Packed lunch will be provided for your journey home. The deadline to check out is 14:00.

Important things to know before filling out the registration form:
- If you’d like to stay in a tent, select the “I don’t need accommodation” option when asked for accommodation preference.
- You will be able to pay the “conference center” portion of your fees by card when you arrive, even though the registration form only offers a cash option. Note: the YWAM portion of your fees must be paid in cash.
