On the 16th of January 2021, Belinda Chaplin celebrated the 20th anniversary of her arrival in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Belinda is one of our YWAM Central European conveners and is involved in many other ministries and programs, both locally and abroad through Youth With A Mission (YWAM). The way she celebrated was that she wrote 20 stories of God’s faithfulness, posted one each day up till January 16th. You can find all the stories she wrote on her blog: beeinbosnia.blogspot.com.
Celebration of God’s character and how faithful
Stories are really showing God’s character and how faithful He has been through her 20 years long stay in Bosnia. She wrote stories about her move to Bosnia, language learning process, move to Banja Luka, the apartment she lives in, travelings, passport challenges, microwave and so much more. The celebration was highlighted with a Zoom call, where people from all over the world gathered and participated. In that call, there was a quiz game, prayer time for Bosnia and Belinda, and a little surprise video for her.

It is for sure a joy and a blessing to have amazing, servant hearted people in this region who hear the word of the Lord, obey it and walk it out. And at the same time, it’s an amazing testimony of God’s faithfulness and encouragement to many of us.
