Travel Information

As the conference starts in Banja Luka and finishes in Sarajevo, the best option is to fly into Zagreb and out of Sarajevo. Zagreb is the most convenient airport for Banja Luka, even though it is still 2-3 hours away by car, and about 3-4 hours on public transport.

If you fly in and out of Zagreb, there are buses and trains back from Sarajevo after the conference, so that is an option.

On public transport there is a bus that connects the Zagreb airport with the Zagreb bus station every half an hour and fairly frequent buses to Banja Luka. The Zagreb bus station website link is http://voznired.akz.hr/voznired.aspx?lang=en

If you fly in and out of Sarajevo, there are public transport links to Banja Luka, but it is a bit more tricky getting from the airport to the bus station in Sarajevo. But contact us for more details on bosnia@ywamce.com for more information on that option. The buses leave at  09:15, 14:30, 15:30, 16:30, 18:30 and arrive approximately 5 hours later.

If you are coming by car, the address in Banja Luka is Duska Koscice 6. Even if you don’t have a GPS, you can see our location on Google maps.

Accommodation

As the accommodation that we will be providing will mostly be fairly basic (and some may be on mattresses on the floor, but bedding will be provided), please feel free to find alternative accommodation if you would prefer something better. There are some good hostels in Banja Luka: including Zeleni Most, Cuba and City Smile which are all within walking distance of the location. Otherwise you can try booking.com for the hotels in the city.
