YWAM Czech Republic

We are YWAM Czech Republic! We may be small in number but we are large in vision and believe that God is on the move in Europe!  This is the time for a new generation to step into their God-given authority and purpose. As a YWAM team we want to partner with the Holy Spirit in the Czech Republic to prepare the spiritual ground for revival, create space for the seeds of the Gospel to be planted and awaken the heart of Europe. How will we do this? Through creativity, a heart to serve those in need, and the desire to see people impacted by the hope of Jesus Christ. Come join us and be part of the move of God in the Czech Republic!

Locations: YWAM Prague

YWAM Prague is a young, re-pioneered base, dedicated to ministering in creative ways to young people.

As a pioneering community, we want to champion new ideas and the creativity God has given the Body of Christ to release.

History of YWAM in the Czech Republic

YWAM first reached out to Czechoslovakia through the Musician Summer of Service in 1990. This got the ball rolling and in 1991 the first base was planted in Plzen and teams were sent to Prague. While the Czechs were discovering their newfound freedom from communism, the true freedom of Jesus was being shared. Over the years, YWAM has served the Czech Republic through working with refugees, doing street evangelism, and hosting Go Festivals, opening the doors for teaching and mobilizing Czechs into world missions. Several Discipleship training courses were also run in Plzen and in Cheb. God was moving, building foundations for relationships and reviving the heart of Europe. Through faithful and faith filled individuals, YWAM Prague was established and is still impacting the Czech Republic through the creative arts, working with youth, and partnering with local churches.
