We are entering a new era of YWAM.  As we are celebrating the last 50 years of God’s faithfulness and work in and through YWAM around the globe, I believe we are also in a place of looking forward to what is coming next.  Our work is far from over. There is no time like the present to stay connected.  

For those of us who were at the celebration in Romania recently, it is all too easy to return to where we call our home and get caught up in our daily routines.  There is so much work to be done right where we are... but I want to encourage us to not forget our fellow YWAMers around the region.  

Do you remember those conversations you had when we were together?  The stories you heard?  The struggles that were shared?  

What other conversations do we need to start? What is it that is on your heart that you would like to share?  How can we truly be there for each other.  Not just saying that we are there... but really being there for one another?  What are some questions that you have?  What are your thoughts about leadership, transitioning, new locations, the mass growth of YWAM that is expected, sharing resources, training, Discipleship Training Schools, finances & raising funds, communication, daily life, spiritural growth on the field, friendships, marriage, singleness, holistic life, grace?... the list goes on and on.  

We don’t want this newsletter to just be about reporting, though that is definitely part of it as we need to know what is going on around the region, but we want this newsletter to also be a place where conversations can start and we can talk about what is really going on.   We will also be revamping our website and we are hoping to have a place there where these conversations can really turn into conversations. 

We need each other; we need each other’s perspectives; we need to hear that we are not alone; we need encouragement. 

So may this new look and new desire of the CE Newsletter now called CE Conversations be a place where we can share, start conversations, and encourage one another. 

So, come on, let’s start these conversations! Let us encourage one another and be encouraged!
